What is a “Canoli?”  Canoli is derived from the Italian “Cannolo” which means “a stuffed tube” and commonly refers to the Italian pastry, “cannoli.”  However, somewhere along the line, in Denver, an “n” was dropped from cannoli and Italians began making and serving a savory hand-held canoli made with Valente’s Homemade Italian Sausage and wrapped in bread dough.  For nearly thirty years, Valente’s has been serving the best homemade canoli in the North Denver and Westminster area.  Freshly baked throughout the day.
